MIDWAY SHOW 2/16

Again we are rocking two shows at the Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain on Saturday Feb. 16th. The first will be an all ages V-day bash featuring B.O.S. Skwad, Supraliminal, Rated, and others, doors @4. The second will be a strictly 21+ throwdown featuring Jacques LaROQ, OptimisGFN, Brzowski, and others. Shortrock will be killin wax ALL DAY AND NIGHT! Def come out and represent!

Also our friends Laua (think ex-Flood Covers the Earth and ex-Bravo-fucking-Bravo) are playing Dos Amigos in Dover, NH on Friday FEB 15th. So if you're free and looking for a FREE SHOW in Dover, def come out.

Super Tuesday Hype - Official Endorsement

After being confronted by some very intense Obama supporters outside South Station, armed with stickers and jingles, I felt it was very important that B.O.S. Skwad Records officially endorse a ticket for the upcoming election. In the wake of many entertainers openly declaring support for a candidate (think Chuck Norris karate-chopping fools in the bible belt to win votes for Huckabee), the label has decided that voting is a social obligation to be taken seriously. I mean, where would our young people be without the strong leadership we've experienced over the past two decades.

This is Poor People's Day - Bigg Jus

One of the only truly socio-politcal and concious records since 9/11 is Bigg Jus' "Poor People's Day". Dealing with subjects such as voicing dissent, treachery within politically organizations, the inability of our democracy to truly reach the masses, our reliance on the industrial militarly complex, and the loss of spirituality through facist consumerism and imperialism, the album is a call for direct, immediate, and unrelenting action from the ground up-forcing us to examine our every failure to respond. I found a remarkable podcast by 1MCSource that chronicle's Bigg Jus from his days as a member of Company Flow, through his work with NMS, into the Poor People's disc.
